Nutrition Consultation Services

Initial Consultation
$120.00

Your initial consultation will last around 90 minutes.

During this time, you will be asked a number of questions to help me get to know you and your healthcare goals so that I can develop a personalized and effective plan for you. These questions will include subjects such as your medical history, current diet and lifestyle, and what medications and/or supplements you may be taking. We will also discuss your health and nutrition goals focusing on both short-term and long-term ideals. This may involve some time on nutrition education to help tweak those ideals and develop them into achievable goals.

At the end of this consultation, you will be provided with some initial guidance including recommendations and resources. This will help you to get started on your journey, but the full plan will take some time to develop outside of this consultation.

Your full plan and first follow-up are included in the price of this consultation.

FAQs

  • We currently only offer telehealth options. Telehealth consultations are held by video conferencing (HIPAA compliant).

Recommendations are evidence-based and utilize an integrative and functional approach that will be unique for each individual.

  • Once you purchase your initial consultation, you will be set up on our HIPAA-secure client portal. There you will be prompted to complete a series of intake forms, consent forms, and questionnaires.

To make sure we have time to prepare for your consultation, please complete these forms at least 1 week prior to the date of your consultation.

You are also able (and encouraged) to upload or request copies of your recent labs for us to review.

  • Labs can reveal a vast array of nutritionally significant information that can help us narrow down what strategies may work best for your goals.

  • We know that this paperwork seems like a lot. However, most of them are short (and mandatory) consent forms that only require a quick read through and signature.

These forms allow us to be efficient during your consultation which in turn allows us to be more respectful of your time. The details provided on these pages are thoroughly reviewed prior to your initial consultation which allows us to spend more time focusing on developing your targeted plan.

Because we review your paperwork as part of our preparation for our first meeting, we require that you complete it at least 1 week before your consultation is scheduled to take place. If this is not done, we will need to cancel or reschedule your consultation.

  • Telehealth embraces the use of technology to conduct consultations. We use HIPAA-compliant video conferencing that is linked to an electronic health record platform. A link to join the online consultation will be sent to you via email. Just choose that link at the scheduled time and you will be face-to-face with your nutritionist. You will be required to have a computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet and internet access to participate in telehealth consultations with our team members.

While smart phones are an option, most people do find that it is best to be on a computer, laptop, or tablet.

Having good lighting is also helpful.

Please ensure you are in a private place when you meet for your consultation, such as your home or private office. We strongly discourage public places (I.e., coffee shops) where people can hear your personal details. If you are in need of such a space, most local libraries offer private rooms for public use.
